TIES BI-NATIONAL SYMPOSIUM 2009

School of Biological Sciences, U. A. de C., Mexico is organizing a Bi-National Sympoisum on "Anaerobic Digestion of Animal Wastes: Prospects and Challenges" on March 10 & 11, 2009 at Braulio Fernández Aguirre Auditorium of the Universidad Autonoma de Coahuila, Torreon, Coahuila State, Mexico in collaboration with U. A. A. A. N., Saltillo Campus, U. A. N. L., Monterrey, Mexico & The University of Georgia, Athens, USA under the TIES Phase (III) project financially supported by USAID-HED. The poster and the tentative program of the symposium can be seen below.

12th annual Conference on the Americas

The Americas Conference is the event in which people who participate in TIES programm through out Mexico can expouse and talk about what they are working in. The editions before this year were in Mexico and Washington D.C.,respectively. This twelveth edition the event was presented on February 6th and 7 th, in Atlanta, GA wherein TIES students from Torreón, Coahuila had the great opportunity to give one conference about anaerobic digestion and taking advantage of it, Argelia Cervantes  and Emmanuel Chavarria talked about how Bioremedation Group Laguna has been working recently and how TIES program has contribuited to our lifes in La Laguna region.

"The Americas conference" es el evento en cual personas que participan en el programa TIES a lo largo de México pueden exponer y hablar acerca de sus proyectos. Las ediciones anteriores fueron en México y Washington D.C., respectivamente. Esta décimo segunda edición el evento fue presentado el pasado 6 y 7 de Febrero, en Atlanta, Georgia en donde estudiantes de Torreón, Coahuila tuvieron la grandiosa oportunidad de dar una conferencia acerca de digestión anaerobia  y aprovechando la oportunidad, Argelia Cervantes y Emmanuel Chavarría hablaron de como Bioremedation Group Laguna ha estado trabajando recientemente y como el programa TIES ha cotribuido a nuestras vidas en la región Laguna.
