Is comming¡

When I was in elementary school, I read a story about solar eclipse, I remember the emotion that i feel in that moment and since then, I’m waiting to see one. July 11th, 1991 was the last time when a solar eclipse was observed in Mexico. At 13:24 hr and with a total sun cover of 54 sec. The next one will be on August 21 of this year and I hope than as me you are waiting for this event. This solar eclipse will cover in a totality to United States, but here in Mexico we can observe it in a partial way, especially in Baja California, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nuevo León and Sonora. However we need to know a couple of things to observe that in a safety way.  We have to remember that when the sun is totally cover by the moon, is safety so see it, but before and after that see it without any protection can cause serious eye damage and in some cases blindness. Some of NASA's recommendations to enjoy this event is to use a special sun filters to view the eclipse.

If you want to get more information about the time at which the phenomenon will be observable, you can check it in here.
